The entire outdoor patio at McGrath Galleries was filled with 36 boxes, each of which contained a 2' x2' plot of land (.0000918 acres), and a custom real estate sign that featured the artist as the sales agent. The public was able to purchase and take home individual "yards" from the gallery.
The project addressed the feasibility of owning land in NYC, and the "American Dream" of having a yard.
