Building a Good Home

This free-standing wall construction is stamped in a diamond pattern with the words "scratch and sniff". If you scratch anywhere on the front of the plywood, it smells like apple pie. An empty window frame allows the viewer to see through to the 2x4 construction on the back.

This project questions what it means to have a "good" home, drawing reference to the stereotype of home baked apple pie.
